Jim Proctor graduated from Worcester State College and Zion Bible Institute with a general certificate and served as a lay minister, head deacon, interim pastor, coffee house director, and sound technician for many Christian bands and theatrical groups over five decades, giving him a unique view of the churches of New England and how they have changed over that time span.
